Are you looking for a place to take the Alaska 12-Hour Nail Class, also called the Alaska 12-Hour Sanitation & Disinfection Class, so that you can get your manicurist license? You have several choices that vary a lot in character and price. Some classes only happen on certain dates and you take the class with others. Some classes are being taught in salons instead of a legally licensed school which may put your manicurist license at peril at some point in the future. Our 12-hour nail class can happen with a somewhat schedule and you can go at your own pace.
Our program is computerized and broken down by both topic and time. The final test consists of 33 written questions. If you don't pass the first time, the instructor will review the answers with you and you will have one more chance to pass. You must get 75% correct to pass. As you progress through the program, you can see exactly where you are in the program and how much is left. Our program is a mix of video and reading and is much less boring than some other programs. This class doesn't teach how to do manicures or pedicures, it simply qualifies you to gain your Alaska Manicuring License and covers sanitation and disinfection principles.
